In Prazeres, it's a small restaurant run by a woman, of great value. It's right on the side of the road, with a beautiful parking lot before. An esplanade with half a dozen tables, usually full. At the entrance, there is a counter with a bar, before a small room, but very comfortable and cosy, with a fireplace that can be very useful in cold weather. In light tones, with lots of light, it has very well-set tables and the service is of great quality, run by the owner. Madeira's traditional food is there, with some variations, all very well cooked. You can eat fried shrimps or grilled limpets, fed horse mackerel and horse mackerel, grilled cuttlefish and sautéed squid or scabbard fish fillet with banana, tuna steak and even codfish with chickpeas or roasted in the oven. You can eat an excellent Madeiran skewer and some high-quality steaks, as well as a sirloin steak as it should be. And many and varied homemade desserts. Madeiran wines have a prominent place.
