The Camacha Mother Church features religious, baroque and neoclassical architecture. This church was under reconstructions works, a building considered property of municipal interest.
The Camacha Mother Church was built in the late 18th century by Francisco Gonçalves Salgado.
Within its interior there is a baroque altarpiece of both johannine and neobaroque revivalist style influence.
Other interesting details are a set of neoclassical tiles that surround the triumphal arch and the main altar ceiling paintings dated from the early 20th century.
To the west there is a bell tower and two side chapels.
